Chief Technical Officer
Olivier Denoux graduated engineer from the Ecole Centrale Paris. He joined Gaz de France in 1991 in the Research and Development Division. After 7 years as a research engineer in the field of safety of gas transmission facilities, he joined the LNG Technical Department of Gaz de France.
During 6 years, Mr Denoux has worked on safety assessments of receiving terminals, on project management assistance and contribution to the conceptual design and basic engineering of LNG projects. He was particularly involved in the design and the permitting process of the new French Terminal Fos Cavaou.
He has spent 4 years in Canada, as Director of Safety, Environment and Engineering of the Rabaska LNG project, a proposed LNG terminal in the St. Lawrence River. When he returned to France, Mr Denoux was the head of the HSE Department of Elengy, the subsidiary of ENGIE operating the 3 French LNG terminals. Mr Denoux is now head of LNG technical department of Elengy, in charge of both the French LNG terminals and international development projects.
He is vice chairman of the Programme Committee for LNG2019.
